Deaf people in Alabama?

Hi,
I am attempting to learn ASL, but it is very hard when there is no one to speak with. I have never met anyone who speaks sign language in Alabama, so I was wondering if there are any out there. I really want to learn and become fluent in it. Any help would be appreciated.
 
St. John's has an Epis. Church for the Deaf in Birmingham. Try running a search for the school for the deaf or deaf community groups in Alabama. Should come up with something.
