Deaf Festival and Deaf Expo

Anyone will go to Lexington, Kentucky for Deaf Expo on September? And Deaf Festival on September 5?
 
I have tried to remember about that event being held in Lexington-Fayette County (KY) in September. I don't think I'll go there. I suppose Deaf EXPO will draw crowds from surrounding states like Indiana, Ohio, Virginia and Tennessee.

Hey Christo, I think you have put the wrong date in here? According to the site ( deafworldwide.com ) it is on the 25th. There is one almost like Deaf EXPO being held in Savannah-Chatham County (GA) on the 18th of September. I think I will wait until Deaf EXPO is back in Indianapolis in October or Atlanta in November.

Oh, I realize you were talking about DeaFestival 2004 which will be held in downtown Louisville-Jefferson County on the 5th of September. Is that right? (more info can be found through http://kcdhh.ky.gov/deafestival ) I don't believe I can make it to Louisville-Jefferson in September on such short notice. :(

are you sure its September 5 for deaf festival? I am confusing right now my friends told me 9/12 and another said 9/25 and some said 9/5? And rumor that Deaf Expo will in Lexington in Sept and I will go there since I didnt go to Indianapolis for Deaf Expo few months ago.

Also that link it's not work.

Oops my bad, I left the index.html part out. It is http://kcdhh.ky.gov/deafestival/index.html - yes, according to the KCDHH site, DEAFESTIVAL will be held on the 5th of September and at http://www.DeafWorldwide.com (currently under construction for some reason) stated earlier that Deaf EXPO in Lexington-Fayette will be held on the 25th of September.

Hi everyone - this is my first post and I am trying to find out if anyone is going to the Deaf Expo in Anaheim. Kerlan (my wife) is in the deaf studies program at csun getting her masters and we are pretty active deaf advocates here in so cal. You might have seen us at a deaf coffee...

Anyways, I was just wondering if you know people going to deaf expo from out of town (Los Angeles)? my friend has a hotel right on Harbor next to disneyland who is willing to give my deaf expo friends a $79 a night rate. That's $20 less than Dessert Inn the Deaf Expo sponsored hotel which is $99 a night. They are both equal walking distance from the Anaheim convention center and both really nice hotels. We are only getting this deal cuz he is a good friend and he is willing to support the deaf.

feel free to get the word out. I would love to make sure everyone saves taht $20 if they need a place. You can just email me if you are interested.

oh shoot, it was in Minneapolis last March, but at that time I was in Texas.. Hope they have it in Minneapolis again in near future.
 
There will be Deaf Expo in Salt Lake City, UT in November. I'll get back to you later with the exact times.
