I was reading the "Immersion" and it's usually pointed out that Deaf Clubs are a good way to meet friends and be active in the Deaf community.
When I went to a local Deaf Club everyone was very nice and friendly, but that was years ago and now I can't find them again (I've already googled for them). Is there someplace the internet somewhere that might have a national listing of Deaf Clubs and their websites?
On a related note; how much are Deaf Clubs still used by the Deaf? I mean when I went years ago it seemed like the majority of the people there were from the baby-boom generation (now these people are in their late 40's, 50's and 60's). Where are all the young and Gen-X deaf people hanging out? Has technology impacted the need and actractiveness of Deaf Clubs among the younger generations?
