Greetings Deaf Community!

Community Outreach Program for the Deaf hosts it's 1st Annual Deaf Awareness Day at Wet N' Wild Phoenix. It'll be on June 8, 2013. See attached for more information. Sign Language interpreters will be provided by the University of Arizona Interpreting Program.

That's a first that I've heard for a deaf awareness event to be hosted at. It's usually at places like Six Flags. :)

Not the first time. :) We had a deaf awareness day at Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo, Iowa. About 80+ deaf people came. That was last year and they're doing it again this July.

How was it? Did those deafies spend most of their time chatting or having fun in the water?
