Deaf Attitude Toward HoH?

not sure if this how everyone else feels, but my personal opinion

"old deaf" - Someone who was either born deaf or has been deaf for a long time and knows all of the in's and out's of deaf culture.

"new deaf" - Someone, like myself, who is late deafened and has either went through stages of hearing loss or lost their hearing all at once. And is now having to transition from the hearing world to the deaf world.
