Curious, do u pay for it? I find many ads on newspaper saying same thing, then find they charge u for this or that.

honestly, I am interested in doing data entry work in order to get supplement income to pay off my debts.

Good question - I wonder the same thing too.

I type over 150 WPM and could use extra cash to pay off or use toward luxuries such as massage, pedicures, etc!!! :whistle:

me too... I plan to purchase a house in a few years.
 
They are scams. No such people will give you vague information, especially an e-mail from yahoo. Don't waste your time and money. I'd love to do data entry work, too.
 
My prevouis expeirence work data entry pretty long time ago...

I wish I could love to take it but not sure if it's scams...

I would be very happy to get $ bring home and pay off damn 1 debt!
saving money for down payment house... faster.. quick short and sweet!

You're right - how do we find legitimate data entry companies? :dunno:
 
Rule of thumb: never go with a "job" that you have to pay money for first. The fellow above is asking you for $10.00. That's a big red flag (scam), and take it from me -- I've seen enough in the business world.

My advice is to NOT respond to the poster offering the job, and instead try the below.

If you want to work in data entry, try contacting these below employment firms. They tend to have temp and temp-to-hire data entry jobs.

There are plenty others too. You might want to do a search in your yellow pages for employment firms.

You can also post your data entry resume on monster.com, craigslist.org, and a variety of other sites. Common job listing sites include:

www.jobster.com
www.justposted.com

Finally, it's much more helpful when you have verification of your skills as a data entry specialist. You might want a certification. Fear not! www.brainbench.com offers a free alphanumeric typing speed certification that you can add to your resume. That'll help you land a job a little easier.

Certifications of all other types are available. You might have to pay for some, and others are free. Two sites come to mind (anyone have others?):

Yeah The problem is - There are too many un-legimate companies that usually would say things that sounds too good to be true. I'd love to do the data entry job because I've worked as a data entry operater before. It's hard to be sure which one is legimate or not. All the more to research it now and then. I'd hate to see every and each one get scammed which is not so cool.

150? Wow, that's FAST. Subtract thirty WPM and you have around my speed. I can only imagine how much you boggle employers! I know at your rate you should be able to get at least temp data entry jobs at the drop of a hat.
