Cunfusion

another poem I wrote, yeah a bit morbid but i liked it non the less lol

confusion

trapped
confused
lost in my mind
desperatley seeking a way to unwind

driving
just cruising
along the long road
to a horizon that seems so broad

so lonely
confined
stuck in opposite lanes
only to realise we are heading to the same

trailing
inside I'm wailing
no time to ask myself why
following no direction, led by my eyes

sadness
depression
tunnelling my way out
trying to head for that distant shout

so tired
despondent
with all hopes gone
never been me, just tagging along

now ending
darkness descending
fighting hard to keep my eyes open
but day to day i still live hoping..
