Cops / Teasers and Cochlear Implants...

Something that I've always wondered. I don't have a cochlear implant and I've never had any dealings with the Police but I've always wondered what would happen.

What would happen to anyone who has a cochlear implant and get teasered. Would your implant fail due to the voltage going through your body, would it mess up your implant?

Not having been "tasered" yet- no idea. Perhaps the Manufacturers can advise?
I have had my Cochlear Implant 6 years.

I don't think I would want to find out. I would be afraid that the CI would malfunction. Cops don't have much patience for deaf people. I saw that on "Beyond Scared Straight". Don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Get something turbocharged. Show off to cop how fast you can do 0-60 from stop light. Cause havoc. See what happens if you ever get tasered.
