I have clear soft ear moulds which always get discoloured after I've worn them for a while, they go sort of yellowish. Could someone tell me whether the same thing happens with coloured ear moulds, e.g. the purple ones some of you have, or do they keep their original colour better?

The only ear moulds I've ever had which didn't do this are the hard ones I had when I was a little kid.

I have had black, green , and purple over the past few years and they look new. If you clean each night with peroxide I don't think they ever discolor and only need to be replaced when they get loose.

Thanks for the tip, what strength of peroxide solution do you use?

I had clear earmolds with hearing aids. It took me every 1 year to replacement new earmolds. The clear can get sort of yellow by sun, sweat, and wax. You need to clean the earmolds once time every weeks.

I've had my red earmold for almost a year now and no discoloration.
