AFP - A 16-year-old British schoolboy was convicted of knifing a 14-year-old fellow pupil to death outside a school classroom.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, knifed Luke Walmsley, 14, through the heart outside a science class at Birkbeck Secondary School in Lincolnshire, east England.

The jury of six men and six women at a court in Nottingham, central England, convicted him by a majority of 11 to one after deliberating for more than four hours.

The two-week trial heard that Walmsley was knifed once through the heart as he chatted about football after a lesson in November last year.

The teenager disliked Luke and delivered a forceful and deliberate blow to his chest after arming himself with the flick knife.

This is sad and tragic! Today's kids are more violent and non-caring and anti-social.

It is not uncommon to see it happen here in England.

Yesterday a teenager killed a schoolboy with a hammer and a knife after watching a smiliar murders in a horrific video game, a teenager boy
aged 17 battered another 14 years old boy over the head with a claw hammer and then stabbed him to death at Leicester park in the Midlands.

A 17 years old boy was obsessed with the Playstation game called "Manhunt" it is banned in New Zealand except here
in Great Britain, they cannot see why it should be taken off the shop shelves
as the victim's mother want to see it banned.

Also another 14 years old boy was beaten and stabbed to death on his way home from school because the gangs want his mobile phone 3 weeks ago!

Senseless and waste life isn't it?

How does these scenarios relate to the article presented in this topic? The article mentioned nothing about any forms of media influencing the kid to knife a kid through his heart.

Other than that, I wonder why did this unnamed kid decided to inflict such harm to another one? Just becuase he disliked Luke? Just something to wonder.

:werd: Blaming it on a game is inexcusable. They parents are responsible for the lifestyle of their kids.

Parents may be responsible but not completely, keep that in mind. There are other factors.
