My husband used to have one years ago. I think it finally died as it got mold in the soil.

I like specific styles in bonsai, some of them are not my tastes. It is almost like a hobby to learn all of them.

Used to....think they are beautiful!...Thks for enlightening me, just might think about getting another one....I do have bamboo plants, one is for "happiness" and the other is for "prosperity"....they are quite big and need repotting.

I would love to have one but heard it's very tough to maintan. You can even get a giant sequoia bonsai as well as Redwoods...they look like minaturized trees.

Used to have one and it was difficult to take care of it. I got a mold in the root. I must have doing something wrong.

I remember now that they are difficult to take care of. can't they replace with the new soil often???
