I'm thinking of buying a new bicross aid, either a CIC or some type of BTE .
anyone here wearing one of the currently available models?

I,ve worn bicross in the past, but when the last one failed it seemed like no one was making them anymore, so I settled for a CIC for my only functioning ear and I've been happy enough with it. But I know I'd do better with a bicross, so that's what I'm looking to buy now,

Recommendation much appreciated.

Most of the major brands make CROS/BiCROS compatible HAs (meaning that they can be set up to work as CROS/BiCROS)

If you're looking at doing BiCROS - I'd go with Phonak as they seem to have the best, most reliable etc systems.

(I looked into doing BiCROS, but with my APD my brain couldn't process the audio.)

(Just as a gentle heads up - they aren't "cross" or "bicross" ... it's CROS/ BiCROS which is an acronym for Contralateral Routing Of Signals )
