Ben Carson and Jesse Jackson were on Fox News Sunday and Carson wiped the floor with him. Carson insisted that Ferguson had nothing to do with race. Jesse Jackson replied:

“It’s a pattern. Whether it was the killing of Trayvon Martin, the killer walked away free, the killing of Diallo in New York, shot 41 times by police, they walked away free. The Oscar Grant case in Oakland, or the case of Rodney King in L.A.”

“At some point, we require and need to have a sense of justice. All we do know about Mike Brown is, really, he was shot unarmed six times.”

Doctor Carson was not impressed:

“If you take race out of the issue altogether, and you take a group of young men and you raise them with no respect for authority, not learning to take on personal responsibility, having easy access to drugs and alcohol, they’re very likely to end up as victims of violence and incarceration. Has nothing to do with race.”

The two were on the show to discuss the situation in Ferguson. Jackson, ever the race baiter was not perturbed by Chris Wallace, when he pointed out that 91% of all black murder victims are murdered by other blacks. Jackson never let’s the facts get in the way and kept insisting that cops are killing our black youths:

“It does have a race dimension. It seems to me that when blacks kill whites — which is rare (Does he mean like O.J.?)— it’s swift justice. When whites kill blacks, it’s rebellion. When it’s black on black it’s a struggle that shows a kind of permissiveness — guns in, drugs in, jobs out.”

“Racial disparity, and alienation and mistrust, are very combustible factors.”

Jackson was unable to take the focus off what Carson said. You have to be a fool to believe racism doesn’t exist in America, or any other country. But you have to be an even bigger fool to believe that everything is racist. Liberals use the racism narrative the same way they use the “War on Women.”
I thought Carson’s interpretation of what happened in Ferguson and other cities across America was precise and to the point. If you are raised and live like a thug, you could die as a thug. That applies to every color under the sun.
