Beer lovers: Wanna try this beer?

oh it isnt beer then what is it?

its a fake type of beer. Usually beer yeast can only live up to 14% abv. Some brewers figured out how to push it to 18%abv.

The strongest is around 21% abv raison d' extra by dog fish.

Sam adams Utopias is 25-28%, but it uses champagne yeast instead of beer yeast.

There is a way with freezing and draining the alcohol from the beer to make 35%+ alcohol content, but i would never consider that beer.

Call it what you want, I'm a beer purist.

moa beer get it, its from new zealand get it as a once a life time shit

dont be a wimp fuck i drink a rum with lemonade everyday now and its 151 proof lol

Grummer, tell me about Moa. How much should it be and where do I find it? Forgive me, I don't drink as much as I used to. But I could make this a once in a lifetime thing for sure!

151 proof, damn, you got an iron liver.

I doubt it is real beer if it is anything above 18% alcohol.

i dont drink it everyday lol, way too expensive and it would be dangerously hard on the liver. Maybe once a week id have a whisky and i have it straight no water, unless its a very peaty/smoky kind like Laphroiag (got 3 bottles of that here).
151 rums are not rare, theres a few around, it is known as 'over-proof' rums, you can get over proof bourbons (they are straight uncut, straight from barrel' Wild turkey says "barrel proof" meaning the same thing just marketing gimicky term. Whisky too, dunno about vodka or but im pretty sure just i arent bothering search the net i got work to do!,
Moa is from New Zealand - i have no idea where you can get it in the States, i guess you need to try some wine specialist shop and ask them, go from there. It is like $16-18 a bottle in New Zealand which is a price of an ordinary dozen of beer!! it is a 750 ml bottle.

back to topic, i dont think that dutch 60% stuff is beer, but it would be interesting to taste it though.
Bookers bourbon i have here is 63.45% (126.9 PROOF)and that is a strong bourbon it can scare some people, but for me I love this stuff, i can handle the hot spicy afterburn, and the taste from beginning to end is incredible. but for beer? its really strange and posts from hell explained it well about the yeast as component of the drink raising serious question whether its beer or not. Gotta try it once though, would hate to know the price of a shot, hell would it be in shots of a beer mug??! LOL
i would suspect its a kind of a beer-liquer if anything to be resemble as 'beer'
hmmm

Bookers is alright. Try the same family of bourbons - George T Stagg. I drink that regularly. Had a shot last friday, matter of fact. Thanks Mr. Potts.
