Hi, My name is Kayla and Im 19 years old. Im taking ASL in my college and i've been trying to study the best i can. My teacher suggested getting out into the community but I work a lot so going to most events is out. So if anyone has skype and would like to help me learn ASL I'll be your best friend!
 
:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. Your teacher is right that you need to go out into the Deaf community like the Deaf events. If you want to communicate in ASL with the Deaf community in your area. I am sure there a lots of Deaf events in Oscala, Florida. I have never been to Florida. Really this is a discussion board here. It is not a chat room. It help you to learn about our Deaf and Hard of Hearing perspectives. There are lots of topic to discuss or to debate here.
