Hi whoever you are!
I am a student, taking a break since I just moved, also am Hearing. I learned ASL at my community college, at 1st just as an elective but then fell in love with it. My professors' were deaf and super sweet!! I miss them very much since I moved away.
Right now, I'm waiting for in state tuition to kick in and then I plan to go to a 4-year college and get my BA in ASL & Interpreting...with a minor in theater, I like to act as well as sign!! I think it'd be neat if I played an interpreter on a TV show or something ^^ Ok, catch myself from rambling.
Looking to meet new people both Deaf and Hearing, not only to practice my ASL, but just to meet new people in general. Since I moved I haven't made a lot of new friends and there's no ASL group where I live (and I live across from a college, you would think). Anyway, glad to be here and...yeah that's all I can think of
