As world of hacker. I bumped to several of other geeks like myself in hacker organizations. They were questioned and I never thought anything like that. I looked up in the ASL dictionary for "hack." It was lame way to sign like that. I am asking any of you to make new sign suggestions for "Hacker."
Please, the most important part is that the sign should not have anything to do with negative or crime or stealing. A "Hacker" is someone who thinks differently, explorer, and wants to make things work in new ways.
I understand it can be difficuilt to create sign language for general in Engineer, Physic, computer science, and etc such as technical technical vocabulary. I am doing something that helps with interpreters to create new ASL sign language for these.
