I was from Salt Lake City, Utah for many years. I am wondering if you or anyone are from utah and you guys are member of alldeaf?? Please let me know
 
My boyfriend, Sequoias used to live in Utah for maybe less than a year.. I'm not sure how long he lived in Utah... But you can ask him about that ;)
 
I used to live in Utah for 5 years..and went to Utah schoool for the deaf 76 to 80 I think

Hi sweetheart, I didnt like utah because too many mormon around and job dont pay very well. We love Colorado!

I was in utah in 1983 to 2000. My husband and I moved to Colorado in 2000. I never went to utah school for the deaf. I went to hearing jr high school and high school.
 
I used to live in Salt Lake City, Utah for 9 years and went to a hearing school under Utah Schoool for the Deaf from 1975 to 1984.

Ohh, I remember that Sequoias told me about Mormon there... But he moved to Washington State in 2001. But, he can tell you about it because I'm not sure how long he live in there and where he lived in...

I totally agree with you! I see that about 70 percent of Utah residents are Mormon. I can't stand living in Utah anymore...
 
I have been to Colorado many times! I grew up in Colorado few years but moved to Wyoming all of my life.

I used lived in Wyoming in 1972 to 1982. I will never want move there back. I love colorado.
 
I lived in Utah for total of 8 months. I moved out of Utah in Dec 2000 to Washington state. There are a lot of regilous people in that state in "Happy Valley" which is in Provo/Orem has a pretty large numbers of Mormons. The social life in Utah wasn't that great for me, just too many religous people and not enough non-religous people.

Salt Lake City to Provo has a pretty large number of mormons!!! There have too many many mormon chuch arounds. Their laws are so strict. They dont allow bars use high proof alcohol and let them have weak proof alcohol. They dont allow all resturant that people smoke inside. Also they dont allow any porn dvd. They will cut private parts and resale porn dvd. They also dont let anyone order porn dvd from other state if they live in Utah. They dont allow stipper to be nude if there have alcohol. they have only one bar that have nude ladies that they dont service alcohol. In stipper bar ladies must cover their part privates.

Yeah, that's true. Utah has silly and strict laws, but I can understand they don't allow smoking in restaurants. I remember that I heard the news of the Olympics in Salt Lake in 2002 that Mormons complained that they didn't want strong alcohols all over the place in SLC area, but the govt said it's allowed for a short while while the olympics were in effect, I think. It seems that most of the laws are under the influence of the Mormons.

WA state recently passed the law on Jan 2006, not allowing people to smoke in bars, restaurants, etc. They must smoke at least 25 feet away from the enterances of the buildings. I was glad to be in a bar that's smoke-free, it smells much fresh!

lol, that's stupid but mormons are more worse than christians does.

Hello Sequoias, I dont like smoking. smoking smell so bad. In colorado still allow bars have smoking around. I dont like go bar because smoking are too much. Bar made me sick. My husband and I dont go bar at all. I was not in olympic in Slc because My husband and I moved to Colorado in 2000.

Well Christan or Catholic or any regilous are too strict also. I dont judge them like that. I dont say mormons are worse than christan but Many other regloius are more strict. I know my sister in law that she is very very strict christan. I dont like it. But I respect her and love her no matter what.

The atmosphere in the bar is much cleaner to breath than a choking air of smoke, when people don't smoke in the bars whenever I visit the bar to see friends. :) Got it now?
