anybody have problems with their CI?

right now my CI seem muffled and when it clears up... i hear a lot of static that gives me headache... soon i will find a CI specialist to see if we can fix that.

anybody else have similiar problems?

Sound like a issue with the external processor that you wear on the ear. It could be a coil. micophone cover or the processor itself. It is very unlikely to be a issue with the internal implant and I sure that you will get ot the bottom of it.
 
Do you dehumidify it? Sometimes excess moisture buildup will develop static sounds from the CI, another sign is when it sounds like you are hearing with a bucket over your head.
 
hm havent thought of dehumidifying my CI... i would have to order new ones and try that.
