Hello everyone! I'm glad to find this forum, I did not know one existed for deaf people. I look forward to reading more threads by you guys.
I am 26 years old, born HoH, fluent in sign language. I got a B.S. in Psychology degree from RIT and just finished M.S. in Mental Health Counseling degree from University of Rochester. I was born and raised in Rochester but I am ready for a change! I want to move away from Rochester. I am looking for a job as a counselor in either Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C. area. Does anyone have any tips for where to look for job in that area? Thanks!
