I agree with her on all counts.

Hearing specialist? I find that offensive to describe my teaching position. There is no way in hell that I am a hearing specialist.

Also, what Barb said about adding new terminology for the same old method. LSL? Just like here on AD when some members instists it is not speech but it is spoken language.

What Barb said ...English is a lanugage and ASL is a language. That's it.

Languages can be spoken, written, listened, and read.

No such crap as spoken language or listening/speaking language.

AGBad, as usual, is a farce.
 
Wow. I used to think favorably about AGBell until I learned the truth about them. It's too bad it was only through this site.

Just like the school in the article last week" "Hearing School for..." Audism is alive and well.
