Alternate text in image tag

Hi. I have a suggestion about the image tag in AllDeaf.

Is it possible to modify the "BB Code" to add a new image tag with an alternate text such as:

That way, screen readers can read alternate text when it approaches the image. Turning off the images in a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, won't make a diference, though. Plus, the poster can present their post the way they want others to look as intended by the poster.
