I've reviewed the thread Strawberry created regarding nudity, which is now moved to the Forum Suggestions section, and I'm leaning towards the NO side for porn. I know it sounds like a great idea, but in the end, if something bad happens, it's my ass on the line. Here are my reasons:

1. It is easy to claim to be 18+ whereas they're not
2. Nude images may, and probably will, be copyrighted
3. I noticed several members having kids around (even my niece is next to me as of now), and they can easily access to the forum
4. Special access to the forum is not guaranteed
5. The Hotties forum is good enough

However, I'm going to let my members vote on this one. If the majority say YES, then I'll reconsider the idea of the creation of an "adult" forum.

umm I would like to see that but it up to AD poster !!

No for me, because there are many others you can go to and not bother about posting them in here. :)
 
I rather see real ppl and nudity are a major no no for me...
 
If you want porn, find it elsewhere. People come here to AllDeaf to make post and exchange comments with each other. This is not a place for people to sign on and stare at porn. Also, if we create this forum, people will abuse it and post a bunch of nudity here. Some of them might even abuse the UPLOAD feature and when that happens, it will eat up the bandwidth big time. When THAT happens, Alex will end up paying more and more money just so you guys can enjoy your stupid porn that you can find elsewhere for free.

Worry about those people get out of control, abuse upload tools, upload too many porn photos, eat up AD's bandwidth? Simple: Set up RULES for Adult forum like: up to 3 photos allowed per day or whatever. If they don't follow that RULE, they will get warning -- if not cooperating, then BAN them. Put that RULES on ADULT FORUM, so that they will read from there and follow your rules.
 
Well since I'm crazy about sex, chicks, and porn, i could say yes BUT...if you want your site to be safe and clean, no trouble at all or whatever, i would say that the hotties forum is proably enough...adult forum could be tricky, but hey if you only allow 'em to come in with a gold card or something lol but heck, i don't even have a credit card yet! lol but hey, it's your decision...perhas if you give out a quiz or whatever before letting us be members in the adult forum, that could be a good idea...but still it's up to you Alex. I have nothing wrong with that.

well... I would say no.. i dont think it is necessay to do that here. There are other places in the internet are good enuf!

What kind of controls does this board have in terms of password access?

If this forum was to be safe age wise, then if members who personally know other members can vouch for their ages/identity.

I prefer this area to be safe - yeah I know some geniue over agers might lose out on the identity side but there are ways to guarantee this which I prefer not to post here for a reason.

I'll pm ya some stuff Alex...

Dont wanna see alex wind up in hot water if he lets the nude forum in and some undercover cop posing as kid b u s t s him and cause our dear AD forum to close down.
 
lol why? it's just the internet...besides if he was in hot water, they would proably just tell him to remove the adult forum but AD may still live on :)

I know internet and free speech sometimes may mesh well, sometimes not depending on situation .....dat true to just simple remove the adults forum allowind AD to live on.


but better to leave the nudity to someone else and save alex a big headache
