I have noticed and still have no clue on some abbreviations in some threads such as IMAO.

I thought why not start this thread for people who don't understand some abbreviations???

For example.

PPL= people

Ya Think? I'll start off mine......

FIL/MIL = Father in Law/Mother in Law
DH/DW = Dear Hubby/Dear Wife
PPL = people
OMG = Oh my God/Goodness
TMI= Too much information

My mind is blank for the moment.... :whistle:
 
LMAO = laugh my ass off (Im not sure what IMAO is)

LOL = laugh out loud

FYI = for your information

BRB = be right back

BBL = be back later

BBS = be back shortly

BTW = by the way (... or between?)

DH - I already knew it can mean "darling husband," (or "dick head?") LOL.

SO - Significant other

AIM - AOL Instant Messenger

OMS - Over My Shoulder (means there's someone standing over your shoulder that you may or may not want to see your IM's or email.)

It's barely 8am. I'm still sleeping.
