Hi All,

I have no hearing difficulties and i own a pub/ resturant in South Wales Uk, I am thinking of training my staff in sign language, to be honest because I cant see anyone catering for the deaf in the whole of Wales and I am hoping this will attract a new clientel to my business. What do you think

You might wanna find out if there are any deaf in your area first. If there's a sizeable population and easy transportation access to your restaurant, it might be an excellent idea to teach sign to your staff. Or, at least, learn it yourself.

See if you can contact any deaf clubs or organizations in your area and spread the word, get some specials going, and that'll attract some regulars.

Regulars especially love it if the cute girls are the ones who know sign. Heh heh.

yah, while it may sound like an excellant idea, make sure there are a deaf community in ur area first before wasting your time training ur employee to sign lol.
