Nvidia, like ATI make North and South bridge chipsets along with onboard Graphic chipsets on some motherboards.

IMHO, Nvidia tend to be the best and more expensive. While ATI are common and cheap. Intel somehow are either behind or in between Nvidia and ATI.

DON'T buy any mobo with SIS! chipset! They're sucky!
