I have see it many times on DeafTV. Yes, it is ignorant and audism what the teacher does not understand that the student or students need interpreter to help them understand what is going on in the classroom. The teacher does not get it at the end of it. **sigh**

Hilarious!!! It's like all the goofy remarks rolled into one person.

Uhh, wait a minute, you're not deaf, are you? How do you understand that video?
 
That video is F* hilarious. That dead-pan voice. I suppose if you put a British accent on it, that would be about right for a British person, especially a British announcer on BBC News.

Neither one was captioned which is incredibly ironic, considering this forum, and the topic of the video. I think it's a tad offensive. If we were to ask what was said in the video would we be told, "Oh, it's not important"?

I know this isn't the same as captions but there is an interactive transcript available. On the tool bar below the video, click on the "interactive transcript" button and it opens up.

I checked some of the other videos from the interpreter series, and they do include captions if you click the button.
