A funny moment in ASL 1 class

So we're going over vocabulary words and such (clothing this week), and my professor (Deaf) is explaining to a girl in the class that the sign for 'socks' is directed down, not up. Up means 'stars', and he signs it for us to see the difference: 'socks', 'stars', 'socks', 'stars'. I look over to another one of my classmates and she and i are giggling, and signing at the same time "new dance!" made my day! I hope everyone's havin a good day
