Just got an email giving me info on this site:

Client Settlement Site > Notice - Interruption of Service

Claims part of the settlement is For DATA OUTAGE ONLY (no loss of stored data):

Defendants Danger, T-Mobile, and Microsoft will make available, during a Customer Appreciation Week, up to twelve free items for download from the Sidekick Download Catalog at no expense to class members. The twelve items will include (a) an alarm clock, (b) a Pac-Man game, (c) three animated screen savers selected by Defendants, (d) two themes selected by Defendants, (e) four ringtones selected by Defendants, and (f) one background selected by Defendants. The Customer Appreciation Week will occur from February 14 to February 20, 2011, and Defendants will give you instructions by e-mail on how to download the items. The retail value of the items is approximately $34.88

If you had a loss of data, you can qualify for $35 gift card (use to buy T-Mobile accessories, but not to pay your bill) or a $17.50 check!!

Here is a nice graphic from Client Settlement Site > Home that explains what each person's options are....

The settlement is good even if you only USED TO OWN a sidekick and lost data. If you have a different T-Mobile device you can get a gift card for $35.00 for accessories OR you can get a $17.50 check.

$1 mil for the lawyers, $750 for the plantiffs, and a free alarm clock, ringtone, and Pac-Man game for those who have affected Sidekicks.

typical class action suit....

$1 million for the lawyers mean 10% as 90% would be much as $9 million and split to about 250,000+ to 500,000+ victims.
