2006 Honda Civic (redesigned)

I've seen the pics of the new Civic. Good news is the Si is back to COUPE not that lame-o hatchback like the last generation. and even better, 200 hp on tap to match the Type-R's sold in other countries.

The interior would take getting used to 'cause the speedometer is on TOP and the tach and other gauges are on the BOTTOM of the dash. Really weird and unusual if I say so.
 
Yuppers, 197 hp is a good thing for a US market Civic Si, better than pokey 160 hp we had in some generations. The Acura RSX has 200 hp, too and it's 2 liter. That Civic Si has a 1.8 liter so it's smaller and 3 hp less, not much of a difference to notice, I bet that Civic Si will beat the Acura RSX's ass, because it might be lighter.

Whoa this car is awesome! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet ride. Who knows maybe this car might finally have made Honda hater turn into Honda lover. LoL. :thumb:
 
Wow, I used to have a 95 Civic for 5 years. I loved it, very useful and reliable. Not once broke down on me just a few minor but inexpensive. The new design looks totally different.. I don't like the nose much but the rest looks awesome! Interior looks awesome too!
 
I own a 2001 Black Honda Civic LX and it's fast, too & I really love the all new 2006 Honda Civics! I like the SI & S2000. I told my dad that I want the new 2006 Honda for xmas and trade my car so I can get the new one! LOL. :bump:
 
Wow, old thread....I noticed that Honda added a 4 door Civic Si, even a Civic Type R for 2008 model year. :)
 
Honda Civic GX looks nice, it great for californians due natural gas station is common and you can refuel at home.

I think that home gas bill will be much for sure if refuel so often.

I found out it's up to 16 hours to fill if your car is virtually empty.

2006 Honda Civic looks so sexy.
