AS part of its ‘Spirit to Serve our Communities’ activities, the Doha Marriott Hotel held the Qatar Deaf Centre activity “cook with the chef” for teenagers.
The culinary team showed 50 teenagers how to prepare their favourite dishes.
They made an Arabic BBQ with different marinades, sandwiches and salads, with a Barbie Girl cake becoming the highlight of the day.

The event ended with the presentation of gifts to the teenagers and club members.

Doha Marriott has a long standing tradition of supporting the cities, towns and neighbourhoods around the globe that it calls home.

“We actively support our communities, building goodwill, fostering understanding, and creating lasting bonds with our neighbours,” , explained Marriott general manager Saeid Heidari.

“What inspires us to be a good corporate citizen is the ‘spirit to serve’, a philosophy that we have valued for more than 80 years.

“This is at the core of so many Marriott activities that our community involvement has been given a special name: ‘Spirit to Serve our Communities’.”
