I am looking to meet with people to practice my signing. I live close to orange park/ southside of jax. I am heaing, and trying my best to teach myself at home since i dont have the time or money to attend classes. Anyone interested in practicing with me or helping me?

I just moved from pensacola a few months ago, and never new that they had a deaf social. I think the mall would be Cordova as the other one was demolished. Enjoy Pcola!

Since the rules are that only a Deaf person can give you a name sign, I am not sure of the etiquette for this. If your name is an actual ASL sign (such as alicia silverstone and gwyneth paltrow's kids Bear and Apple respectively), is it "wrong" to use the sign for "Bear" and "Apple"? Or should...

This is so helpful! I can see that ASL uses less signs than english uses words so it seems easier, and this will definately help me with sentence structure. Thanks!
