I love the beach. I grew up in a small border town right on the ocean and I would spend most of my time down on the beach.

That is my #1 most annoying thing too. It's like it's okay for a hearing person to ask someone to repeat themselves but many times it seems that as soon as someone finds out I'm hoh, they expect me to have perfect hearing and they'll either say "oh, never mind" or they'll look at me and repeat...
