    IP relay problems/suggestions?

If you are on a Sidekick, if you're not already doing this, try pressing enter after 2 or 3 words (no GA at this point). The operator will be able to see your text in small pieces and relay it when there is a complete phrase.

    Who has called 911?

Thanks for correcting that, my post was unclear. It's not a 911 emergency call in the sense that your location is not automatically detected and your call relegated to the nearest police/ambulance/fire. The relay center will have to do a lookup to find the correct center by address and some by...

    Who has called 911?

Traditional relay (for TTY users dialing 711) does relay emergency calls. The phone system automatically takes care of passing on the caller's information to the emergency operator. IP relay will not relay emergency calls.

    Question about Relay....

Sorry, I was only referring to traditional (TTY-based) relay. I believe the FCC explicitly disallows international IP relay calls. Or at least, will not fund this modality and therefore providers do not allow you to make them.

    Question about Relay....

Are you asking about traditional relay? If you are in the US or Canada, of course, 711 will allow you to make international calls. If you want a number to receive international traditional relay calls, some state relay will accept international calls in the US. For example, in California...
