I don't think it is any harder to learn to think in ASL than in any other language. When I was studying French, I thought alot in French... same thing when I was studying in Japan or working in a Spanish speaking workplace.... the constant exposure got me thinking in whatever language I was...

i sign left handed. i've never really had any complaints about my signing, except that sometimes my hands shake from the medicines i have to take. otherwise, no complaints. i tutor some asl students, they tend to appreciate that all they have to do is mirror me and they will be signing it...

i'm not too worried about NCOD... i'm pretty much okay on my own. i've never used any deaf services (or at least not for school), and i did well this last semester in high school. i don't particularly need it, especially because i already get a note taker due to learning differences.

yeah, i really hate it when people just think i'm making an excuse....and it's even more annoying when they justify it by the fact that i don't wear heaing aids. as for that woman....that's kinda creepy.

sometimes those word magnents are fun....they stick up against the sides of most elevators, since elevators are mostly metal. leave someone a note...people generally don't mind, but they do find it perplexing.
