I'm currently tired. However I have an appointment soon. But right after that I'll take a nap. A long nap.

I hate getting attention at all, it can make me cry and I definitely don't want to cry in public. I never sign outside when I'm with my mother. Sounds pretty weird, my mother is the one who is signing (and thus getting the bigger attention) and I'm just mouthing the whole time with little...

Nope, I just wanted to know how Romanian works. It belongs to the Latin languages but it's sadly overlooked because Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French are wide-spread so I read about it and picked up some words. :) I don't have Skype, I'm sorry. Not comfortable with chatting. :aw:

That's one of my childhood nightmares. That a flying insect would get into my ears when I was outside without my hearing aids...

Thank you everyone. Danke! :ty: I don't think it's so complicated after all. You just need the will to learn it. If you got the will, you just start at zero. First basics, then simple sentences... the more you understand how the language works, the further you can advance. However I'm aware...

Don't worry. I'm aware of social anxiety and avoidant personality disorder issues. What I may have a psychologist can only tell me that. However I'm very interested about deaf Aspies and I would like just to hear about their experiences. I hope that's OK.

German is my mother tongue, also German Sign Language. I learned English in school, it was my favourite subject. But I'm a language geek so I learned (and I'm still learning) Spanish and Japanese. I know basic French, Italian, Korean, Chinese and Czech. I want to learn more languages. :)

About to read the first volume of the Thursday Next-series "The Eyre Affair" by Jasper Fforde.

I like Doctor Who. The Tenth Doctor is my favourite. :) And they've created the scariest villain ever. Whenever I see a statue I can't help but think about the Weeping Angels.
