I'm kind of annoyed that the school kind of assumes that all deaf and hard of hearing people know sign language. They definitely should be offering alternative services.

Technology wise, it sound more like a built in t-coil than an actual "ear". The article seems a little weird about the details. Mainly the fact that it says the ear can "transmit" sound. I can't remember the last time I heard an ear making noises o.O
