What is your favourite perfume?

It's not weird- actually the same perfume will smell differently on everyone, and even on you sometimes. it's quite likely Red Door just 'agrees' with you. maybe some other ladies are sorry because they would like to use RD but it doesn't smell good on them. so, enjoy it :)

Agree (we are on a winning streak, Fuzzy )

My sister tried.....I forget the name - famous designer - and she smelled good. I tried the same perfume and smelled like a hamster cage! :laugh2:

NONE.
Many perfumes can be quite distracting even to the point of causing headaches for people that dislike it. Some of the chemicals used can do this easily.
Besides, people that keep a good hygene regimen do not need it.

Altough it started this way, perfume is not supposed to mask B.O. - perfume is supposed to please our sense of smell, to give our person some individuality, certain "olfactory uniqness",
it is supposed to evoke pleasant feelings for both the person who wears it and who smells it.
A person can be recognized by wearing a certain kind of fragrance.
One can instantly think of a person without seeying her/him by simply smelling just the scent that person wears.

Sure, some pple are not being familiar with "perfume etiquette" - number one of which is, one should remember never ever overdo it, use it in an amount just sufficient for a fragrance to be felt from up close never from afar, and some indeed have poor hygene and yet dose themsleves off with vats of perfume - which is just yucky thing to do..

Also, the perfume or any strongly scented cosmetic like hairspray, body lotion etc should not be worn to places like hospitals, dr's offices or even office meetings, etc because some pple have migraines, allergies which can be affected by strong smells, nice or bad alike.

I don't like to use hairspray. Eww - no matter, if it smells good to some people. I just don't like it. Yeah, I know some people want to use it to prevent windy to mess their hair.

And you know what I envy you - a lot of ladies I know would like to have this one special perfume that says "it's me". You are so lucky you found it, and so long ago - because I still don't, and neither did the ladies :)

Brittany Spears' perfumes sells like a hot cakes!!

Their bottles are pretty and helps to attract teenagers to buy.:hmm:

I use Wish by Chopard (pink and blue) and Jean Paul Gaultier. I use to have White Diamond and I had to stop using it cos it gave me rashes.

Weird, everyone get migraine/headache from perfume? Why?
Only thing give me headache is constant tension in my neck and shoulder (I don't know how to relax lol I'm serious)

You are right, I've noticed the same thing - many pple here seem to be having headaches. It could be a coincidence, or I wondered if it's something related to hearing loss?

As for your sore neck and shoulders - have you had any test done, and X-ray, MRI ?

I forgot to add abt Strawberry that was my first perfume oil and the other one is Passion by Elizabeth Taylor from my sis gave it to me for my xmas or b-day gift.

I don't remember Passion by ET very much but I think I liked them. and if you like strawberry smell, to me some Escada smell a bit like strawberry...

Has nothing to do with hearing loss cuz my mom CANT wear perfume and I cant put on perfume if Iam going to see her cuz it triggers her severe migraines, the kinds that cause her to vomit and be in a dark room. She is hearing.
