Immigrating to U.S. becomes much costlier

Bear, Jazzy & Reba, thank you for responsed my post. I can understand and have to give you right about this.

But...

It could be that the immigrants' application to be legal immigrant are being reject that's why it turn them into illegal immigrant and commit more crimes?
Some don't even bother to apply for legal status; they just sneak into the country. They know it's against the law but they don't care. They know it's against the law to drive without a license or insurance, or to drive drunk but they do it anyway. They know stealing, raping, and murdering is illegal but they do it anyway. They just don't care.

...They won't being treat as crime here in Germany only if they respect German law for return to their own country voluntarliy without deport them back to their country....
What happens if they don't voluntarily return to their home country?

It could be that the people's application to be legal immigation are being reject, that's why they stay in America illegal?
That is one way that some aliens stay illegally. They stay beyond their visa limits. When their visas expire they're supposed to leave the USA. If they stay, they break the law.

QUOTE=Reba;813265]No, I didn't. The person was a LEGAL immigrant. I helped a LEGAL immigrant get a LEGAL green card.

Please read again my original quote:

"Yes, I know the process; I've helped a legal immigrant get a green card and state residency card."

I even bolded "legal" in my original post to avoid confusion.

Yes, I read those word legal in your post. I use "illegal"

I mean, a person who is not recongized to be legal immigrant yet until she/he want to be legal immigrant then she/he will get a green card (work permit) and residence permit.

Example:
If I want to be legal immigrant in your country few days before 90 days without visa but application to be legal immigrant including work/residence permit are not being recognize yet until application of legal immigrant with work/residence permit is finally recognition then I am official legal immigrant. Understand what I am trying to explain?

If they do not recognize me as legal immigrant in their country then I have to follow what the visa says. (accord America law, I am allow to stay in America up to 90 days without visa then go back to my country but no work etc). If I want to stay longer than 90 days then apply for visa.

I would NEVER help an illegal alien try to get a green card. That is breaking the law.

I am not sure either I understand you correct... I guess our system is different.

Do you mean that a person who want to be legal immigrate then recognize be legal immigrate without get a green card (work/residence permit) and then apply extra for work/residence permit?

Here in Germany, if a person who want to come to live and work here in Germany then apply for legal immigrate then they will get work/residence automatic (due limit date). If they loves those job and get their employer's reference to prove the City Hall that they are satisfy with their jobs... It's City Hall's decision either their extend to be legal immgration or not.

That's right. People must obey the law.

Some of our missionaries and church staff are applying for dual citizenship. In the meantime, they're required to make many expensive, inconvenient trips back and forth between the two countries. They don't like to do that but they obey the law, and they do it. That's what people must do. Obey the law.

That's illegal! What they did is bad and wrong.

What US immigration law do with them after arrest them for illegal immigrates and plus commit the crimes?

I explained in my previous posts: Deportation.

The police arrest/cuff illegal immgirates straight way after check their ID and City Hall and then drove straight to Airport to force to take them back to their country. It also explains in my link, too. Germans is very strict about illegal immigration. That's why a lot of illegal immigrates are hide for not want to face deportation.

I remember last year - Islam married couple come to live as legal immigrate here in Germany until an Islam lady met and fall in love German and left her husband for him. Her husband is legal return to his country after the date of extend is end and spread to the people about her... They are expect to have her return then she will get stoned to death... A lady is scared and become illegal immigrate and hide somewhere... until she had a good people who helps her and fight... until German Government agrees to give her unlimited permit which mean she can live in Germany forever. I will try to search the link about this to add here but I can't remember her name but I will try... perhaps you can find link faster than me...

Illegal immigrates send back to their country but they still sneak in and criminals illegal immigrates stay in our prison till their release and send them back to their native but u need to understand something who pay them to stay in jail. That is us and our prisons are so full and overcrowded. They keep let murderers go because no more rooms for them to stay in jail. State of Calif is flat broke and we have most illegal aliens in our country. That is why we want a new wall between Mexico and USA. We can not afford to help them anymore.

If your application is not approved before your 90 days runs out, then you either probably would have to leave the USA, and then continue your application from Germany, OR they might let you extend your stay on a different kind of visa in the meantime. That is, you might be able to extend your tourist visa while you wait but you wouldn't be allowed to work and earn money while waiting. I don't know all the technical rules for each scenario.

If they do not recognize me as legal immigrant in their country then I have to follow what the visa says. (accord America law, I am allow to stay in America up to 90 days without visa then go back to my country but no work etc). If I want to stay longer than 90 days then apply for visa.
That sounds right. I know that there are many German people working legally in the USA, so it seems the USA is pretty much open for German immigration.

I am not sure either I understand you correct... I guess our system is different.
Yes, the systems are different.

There's a difference between people who are seeking temporary work permits, and people who want to move to the USA permanently. For example, suppose a German engineer wants to work in the USA for two years while setting up a new production system for Bosch in South Carolina. If he gets the visa, it's very specific for two years, and for Bosch work only. After the two years, he has to move back to Germany.

But suppose he changes his mind and wants to move to the USA permanently? That's a different kind of application. If he gets approved, he can move to the USA, and work for whatever company he wants. He will need a green card and residency card for the specific state in which he lives. If he moves to another state, he needs to reapply for new cards.

If he wants to become a USA citizen, then that's an additional process, and that has minimum time requirements, and a test that must be passed.

These are just general explanations. There are more details here:

That's illegal! What they did is bad and wrong.

What US immigration law do with them after arrest them for illegal immigrates and plus commit the crimes?
That's the problem. Most of these illegal aliens don't get arrested until they are in a car wreck, or rape someone, or kill someone. They should be arrested and sent back to their country before they hurt someone but it doesn't happen. Local police are told to NOT enforce immigration laws, and the federal ICE people don't have enough resources to do the job. That's one reason that many Americans support building a better wall (physical and thru enforcement) to prevent illegal aliens from sneaking into our country in the first place.

If an illegal alien is arrested, convicted, and imprisoned for commiting a crime (for example, rape), they are supposed to serve their prison sentence in the USA, then be sent back to their home country. Sadly, they don't stay out of the USA, and they sneak back in.

Ok, if illegal immigrants aren't illegal in USA, or even not on law then would you help them to get green card? Just like encourage on them.

Once, they are illegal in USA, long as until they are wish to be legal then need go back to their home country and apply for green card then move to USA again, also long as if they haven't catch up or deport off.

Some people aren't quality to move in USA for some reason.

Yes, that's right.

I believe that most illegal immigrants are deported to Mexico via truck or other transportation, also USA have to pay it via our tax system.

Now, it wasn't worse as before, California and Mexico border is getting more diffcult for them to pass into USA border due increasing more patrol, also unless if they get temp visa card then stay in USA until temp visa card is expire and decide to stay in USA for long time.

More illegal are acrossing from Mexico to Arizona, NM and Texas border, also some part of borders in Texas are already strictly tighted.

It does offered at some local office police, most cities have sanctuary laws to prevent office police from ask for immigrant status, banned to ask them until they commit crime or get caught in somewhere.

Ok, if illegal immigrants aren't illegal in USA, or even not on law then would you help them to get green card? Just like encourage on them.
I only help legal immigrants do legal processes. I won't help anyone break the law.

Once, they are illegal in USA, long as until they are wish to be legal then need go back to their home country and apply for green card then move to USA again, also long as if they haven't catch up or deport off.
That's the right way to do it. Go back to the home country, and apply the legal way. If I lived in their country and could help them apply legally, and I knew they were good people, then yes, I would help them.

Some people aren't quality to move in USA for some reason.
Sometimes it's their fault, sometimes not. Sometimes it's the government's fault, or sometimes it's a technical reason. There are many good people who want to enter the USA but they are not allowed to for legal government reasons. But we can't just open up every gate and let everyone swarm in without checking who they are. That makes it too easy for terrorists, criminals, and disease carriers to walk in and cause trouble.

the worst thing when cuban come to wrong land which is Mexico. They sent them in prison probably forever.

the worst thing when cuban come to wrong land which is Mexico. They sent them in prison probably forever.
That is the irony. Mexico is very strict about people coming into their country, but they whine when the USA wants to restrict Mexican people from entering the USA!

That's illegal! What they did is bad and wrong.

What US immigration law do with them after arrest them for illegal immigrates and plus commit the crimes?

Well supposedly they;re to be held for the INS and deported...unfortunately our judicial system has set up a catch and release so They're released after 'promissing' to appear at their deportation hearing. sigh. Many of us are for attrition through enforcement. We want our 'esteemed' leaders to actually enforce our laws, espeically dealling with hiring of illegals. Start fining the crap out of them and with no jobs, no welfare, then many will go home. Oh and stop the anchor baby thing to.

Yep. Catch and release should be for fish only.

I am talking about our prisons in Calif is worse off than before and we do not have enough money to build more prisons now thank to all those illegal aliens criminals.

I do not know about stricter cuz I know around here the horses were stolen and shipped to Mexico illegal recently those horse owners never recover them.

Not what it happened at walmart when they caught illegal alien whom stole their goods, they let him go. I was disbelieve when we saw what happened to this man and I knew if we caught we go to jail. For some reason those workers at Walmart have more sympathy toward Illegal aliens than American citizens.
