What's the last thing you bought?

I bought 5 corns for snack and dinner. I put one or two in microwave for 4 minutes with husks on.

Wow! It came in today! I now have 8 GB of memory, and 3.93 GB of memory is being used, and no swap space is being used. It looks like I have a new computer. For some reason, the first boot took 61 seconds to get to the desk top (maybe because more software is getting loaded into memory, or the computer had to redetect the new memory? I'll find out the time on the next cold boot). BUT, to go from cold boot, login, and to full control over the same programs with 2 GB took 3 minutes 15 seconds, and now with 8 GB, the same process is 1 minute 44 seconds, even with the extra few seconds to reach login screen. Everything runs faster, web page loadings, loading and switching email messages, loading documents. Some apps load even faster, 4 times faster, like Mail and Acrobat Reader. Everything just runs FASTER!! My "new computer" for $75.

Sod. Today. Soooooo tired of it LOL. BUT hubby says we are done for the year. I'd like to believe him. :) we have put down roughly 16,000 square feet this year.

40" Smart TV for other beach house along with Blu-ray DVD player. My father didn't bother to buy new TV to replace the old old old Tube TV. He doesn't realize how many kids today want to play games and many family members complained about TV in the living room, only one flat screen in master bedroom. Now everyone should be happy (actually it's a gift to my dad and mother for 63rd wedding anniversary)

Been thinking about some sort of wireless charging station for my android but I don't think it will be possible... at least not for the Galaxy s5. Hate the little flappy door to the usb port!!!
 
I've had a lot of good deals from Amazon that they save you at least 75% from retail and have free shipping. Had a comforter that valued over $150, reduced to $40 with free shipping. Amazon seems to have a good bargain price compared to other retailers.
 
Stuff for my classroom including a printer since the printer at our school is always broken. The hardships of being a teacher. *groan*
