Restauranteurs have been trying to capitalize on the popularity of Hooters for years—now a Dallas entrepreneur is opening Tallywackers, a bar-restaurant staffed by scantily clad hunks, in the Oak Lawn gayborhood.

Slated to open in May on Lemmon Avenue, Tallywackers is expected to serve phallic food like hot dogs. Owners held a hiring event this weekend for cooks, waiters, hosts and bartenders.

Is servers in boxer briefs against health department regulations?

It’s the second such establishment we’ve heard about in as many months, as a New Orleans businessman is getting ready to open Woodpeckerz, which has been advertising for go-go boys and strippers.

We’re still hoping to open a vegetarian version in New York and call it “Eggplantz”

Does not appeal to me at all. :ugh:
 
I would prefer food servers of either sex to be fully clothed.

I want my servers to be clean and clothed. The more layers between their DNA and my food, the better. Include that for the back of the house, and add disposable gloves, hair and beard nets.
 
Now, now girls!...:lol:...feel this "Tallywacker" restaurant will appeal mainly to the Gay community.... and what's good for the goose should be good for the gander....I've ate at Hooters several times...so if my city gets a "Tallywacker", feel my girlfriends and I will try it out.....(for the eye candy of course!) :giggle:

Well, if it's going to appeal to gay men then it is for the gander (that's the male goose). :giggle:

I've ate at Hooters several times...so if my city gets a "Tallywacker", feel my girlfriends and I will try it out.....(for the eye candy of course!) :giggle:

When I was a heath aide we were not allowed to wear tank tops to work
b/c our perspiration and pubic hair could get into our clients food when cooking for them or we get sweat on our clients while giving them p/c , personal care. So I don't understand why the health department allowed people to work half naked while serving food in restaurants .
I am with you on this. I can't cashiers putting their hands on their face or picking a cold sore on their lips while handling people food . I saw a woman do that while I was putting down to pay , I put all my food back in my wagon and went another cashier , that woman had a cold sore which is a virus and she had picked it right off her lip . :eek3:

People may not realize it but being a heath aide is very hard work , most health aides work alone and have to something work in apartments that have no A/C on when it' s 90 degree outside. We have to lift clients all the time and trying doing that with no A/C on in apartment that feel like 100 degrees .
You're going to be sweating your ass off. And with a tank top on sweat could be dripping off your armpits . I can't believe people have to either wonder how this could happen. :roll:.
We have to lift our arms up while helping our clients like in the photo and some woman to do shave their armpits.
 
Well, if WDYS didn't have everyone on ignore, MAYBE she would know what we're talking about. :roll:

But do you realize that you said pubic hair, that's what was so funny? I think you meant underarm hair, pubic hair a little lower down. Not picking on you just funny mistake, you have a good sense of humor, use it! :lol:
