I been having trouble with Safari every time my power cuts off. I been trying to reset Safari i cant get into yahoo mail or some sites. i also take off my firewall. How can i get everything back on Safari. It is hell trying to get everything to work again. I cant control my power company. So i need some help here folks. i need what steps to take to get everything working normal again. HELP!!!

If you're using your own ISP wifi, then yeah, when the power cuts out, your internet connection (including wifi) will also lose power and disconnect.

Sorry, I dont understand what do you mean? You mean your house got power outage? Or internet got disconnect? Or lost signal?

Or are you trying to say that the power cuts out, comes back on then you have problems with Safari? If that's the case, don't know other than rebooting both the computer and the router.

If you are trying to do stuff with Safari when the power cuts off- you can't do anything since electricity is powering your wifi and computer.

I don't think the mac user in this house has had that kind of problem at all...

I think we need a better, more detailed description of what exactly is happening with your computer.

Reb like Yahoo doesn't load up correctly,Cant read E Mail and i cant see pics cause theres a blue square with a question mark on it. Like do you see the little guy smoking below my post? I see a question mark now its ok I had to reset Safari about a couple of times to get it straight again

No, I don't see a little guy smoking below your post. Should I?

Anyway, the question is, what is causing your problem? Are you having whole-house power outage, or just a drop in your internet, or a surge or what? You haven't described what happens.

I'm not sure what you're doing to "reset" Safari but it sounds more like an internet connection problem than a power problem, except that you need the power for your modem and router.

Is everything working OK now?

clear your browser caches. reboot your comp.

Safari is the browser
iIs everything working OK now?
For now yes

Reba was asking how you are 'resetting' Safari (I'm sure she knows it's a web browser...). I'm curious too. If I have time today I'll peek at the mac in this house to see...

Honestly, safari shouldn't be messed up simply because you lost power- something else is probably going in in there.

Little guy smoking? Wut? Is it me?

perhaps you need to get a ups battery backup for computers and hook up your modem, router and pc to it. This way everytime the power gets interuppted you can shut it down gently and not have problems all the time and prevent hard drive corruptions that gives you issues on pc. whatever file/program you were using everytime the power goes kaput can get corrupted over time.

I have a battery back up.Its electric power cuts off the modem and the router that messes up my safari

ahh if you mean the little guy smoking in your signature- not everyone has signatures turned on. I don't see him because I turned that off.
