Patriots are under investigation for deflating footballs

I bet this is a real letdown for all the kids that were at the game , they were so excited that the Pats won the playoff and find out they cheated has to stink.

Feel the kids were not the only ones disappointed...Football is like apple pie in America....I watch it with my boys a lot....and feel cheated myself. Anyhow...GO SEAHAWKS!....

Some have wondered if Brady even knew... 2lbs per square inch is a lot and would be noticeable I would think from handling the ball during the game.

Just because he didn't deflate them doesn't mean he didn't know. :hmm:

lot of football teams do that from HS to NFL. dipping the ball in warm water in cold water. so many tricks out there.

I am so sick of hearing about this on the news , there is more important news to be reporting than deflated footballs. I wish people would get over it .

Is anyone sick of hearing about this yet ??

Not sure about that as there's too many people eating this up.....worse poopy I ever heard falling out of a Clydesdale! :D Probably a lot of irresponsible journalism....

Remembering when Tyson bit Holyfield's ear off...and that was years ago...soooo....Hyped up on Steroids?....news is news. And the public eats it up....Dunno if the Patriots can live this one down, as they've been accused of cheating before....There is cheating in every sport. So guessing they are thinking..."it's OK, as long as we don't get caught"!....Lance Armstrong is one example of it.

The news reporters on TV are talking about 'deflated balls' right of the top the news , I wish they would talk it about during the sport section . I am vomiting this up.

Saw a pix of the trophy the Pats will get if they win the Super Bowl......it's a Deflated Football!....

That's strange because the version of the trophy I saw was a bronze image of Tom Brady with a 14 inch nose......

I am betting the Pats will be getting a lot of " Booing " at the Super Bowl game .

Well, here's the thing from my POV: The Pats didn't even have to cheat (IF THEY DID) because, clearly, they were the far superior team during that game and a pound of ball deflation wouldn't have made a difference; in fact, Brady was intercepted on one pass and the defender said it felt funny and promptly gave the ball to the equipment manager.

If you're so sick of it, why are you in this thread?

I'm sick of hearing about "extreme weather" when we get a drop of rain or a snowflake.

We should be grateful that there isn't a lot of NEWS (which is usually bad news) so they have to fill in the time with sports, weather, etc. I get tired of it too, but understand they can't just show a blank screen.
