I dream every night. Some are pretty decent others just down right messy and have no sense. Last night was a doozy for me. Woke up fairly upset. I have a friend who believes that dreams are meant to be deciphered and its a part of the grand design from God. I do get a sense of déjà vu. Anyone got any suggestions or viewpoints??? Just a topic that I am interested in.

I think dreams are a reflection of your own inner turmoil, and I don't think they are really prophetic or can be interpreted in any mystical sense.

The other night, I dreamed my husband and I moved into a seedy apartment building on a street called Sesame Street. Then when we went out the door a giant muppet vole was chasing me and I was terrified. I don't think this meant anything other than I have a fever from being sick.

Deja vu is just down right creepy, but honestly I do dream of events and they happen in real life. The ones I can't make sense of are the ones that affect me the most. Yuck! My friend reminds me that some of are gifted. Me thinks not so much on gifted but overly conscience when sleepy.

I had dreams like that and they can have an effect on you , I tried to remeber
what place looks like and see if it someplace I had been , I feel that I been there before but when ?? I think it a dream I had before and that why it's Deja vu . I can't of any other reason not unless it something I saw in a movie or TV ?

It's cool sometimes when the déjà vu is on good terms. Sometimes I do question that there's a possiblity of divine intervention. My hubby says that dreams are for the birds. He sleeps hard and all night. Me- two three times I am up getting water or getting the kitty out of our room. I don't mind the dreams just not so much the feelings waking up. :ty:

You're welcome ! I would love to have some nice dreams of my mom , I dreamt that I was at her house but I could not get to the door . That was very upsetting to me, being so close to her but not being able to see her. I had this dream a few times and I don't like them! :(

I , too, do dream of relatives that are going to pass or have passed. It's very uncomfortable. Our mind/ brain is tricky and when we are thinking of them, especially those we are closest with.

There is symbolism behind dreams but it's far from "if you dream about hats and ties it means you are soon going to meet a handsome, tall man" - no, of course it's not like that.

But for example, Miz Botts she dreamed about giant muppet vole in new place, hmmmmm....

now, a vole is a rodent that looks like a mice. it burrows tunnels underground, and it could cause damage to plants by eating it roots.
A vole has many predators.

just a shot in the dark.

It could be your unconscious tells you the place you and your husband are now, is being under sneaky attack - hence vole tunnels. you are worried that something's happening to either your relationship or you. or your husband. hence damage.
something pretending to be unimportant and small - hence muppet disguise and a huge vole, and which might bring plethora of problems -hence many vole predators.

btw, it's just an example how dreams may be interpreted.
by no means it's an analyse of Miz Bottessini dream. just a game :)

I did, however, long ago read a book about how to analyse dreams by a psychologist and it does go like above.
I am sorry, though, it was like 25 years ago - I don't remember neither author nor the title. the only thing I recall is how the author's client had a dream of skating on a thin ice (among other things) .
the psychologist interpreted it as worrying about losing her husband - as indeed her (the client) marriage was on the verge of divorce.

 well thanks Fuzzy. Now I am really terrified! You could say the vole represents the flu and may fear of dying, but you could also just use the logical explanation of a dream from fever. I think that type of dream interpretation has about as much credibility as Freud these days.

if getting a lot of deja vu need see dr asap very common symptom of different sorts of epilepsy, not serious sort but could well be sleeping fits.anything from little tick in skin to full thing...many people unaware they got it

I have two reoccurring dreams. One is finding money. Usually hundred dollar bills. The other one has me playing poker, Texas Hold-em specifically. The flop comes and I hit 4 of a kind. Lots of betting and raising which I of course love to see. I can't lose right? When it's time to roll the cards over my two cards are different and I have doo-doo. Anyone want to interpret these? :D

Don't play poker for a lot of money.
