Casey Anthony convictions thrown out

OMG, she broke the law, lying to the police. What the hell happened? There are two more convictions to go but I don't know what they are. Foxrac, do you know?

This was one crazy case to start with. I was shocked back then when she was found guilty of the smaller crimes, but not of her child's death. That made no sense.

I can see why, once one tried TWICE on same crime can throw any past convictions out. It is the way justice is done, by law no one is allowed to be tried twice for same crime. I know it sounded sucks but it is the way the law is.

AGAIN???? Is casey back to prison?? I believe that she did kill her daughter Caylee. She need to stop being so LYING!!!!

Not yet. There were four convictions for lying (giving false info) to cops. The judge threw two of them out due to double jeopardy so two more convictions to go. Sadly, the jury already found her not guilty of murder.

One more thing:

Anthony still faces a defamation lawsuit from Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, of nearby Kissimmee, Florida.
During Anthony's disputed July 16, 2008, statements to Melich, she said the last time she had seen her daughter was when she dropped Caylee off at Gonzalez's apartment.
Gonzalez filed suit in September 2008, claiming that Anthony ruined her reputation.
Last April, a judge ruled that the suit needed to go to trial by jury and denied Gonzalez's request for a summary judgment.

Casey Anthony files for bankruptcy as she vows to 'keep fighting' legal issues - CNN.com

I hope that bankruptcy court dismisses the bankruptcy because I want her to be very, very deeper, worst experience with creditors and collections, so no respect for her for kill the children.

Bankruptcy courts do not and should not rule on emotion. As long as her paperwork is in order her bankruptcy should be approved. Rooting otherwise is to root against the integrity of the American legal system.

Our courts acquitted her for a reason. That's how our CJS works. The evidence was all too circumstantial.

There's nothing wrong with feeling that she is guilty (same as OJ) but if the public disagrees with her trial verdict, the real disagreement is with how the courts work.

He means that if a person files bankruptcy, their guilt can't be used to determine their case. Since Casey is free with her rights, she has equal opportunity like any other citizen.

I have a negative reaction to her because I believed that she is guilty for kill the child.

Also, she has over $500,000 in debt, related to court and lawyer, so that why I made negative statement - personal one.

Exactly!

See it would be one thing to say "I hope she gets hit by lightning" or "I hope she never finds love." Then you would just be expressing your desire for vengeance based on your presumption of her guilt. But it is different to wish the legal system (bankruptcy court) fails to do its job within the law. That is a bad thing for all of us.

Hope that helps.

In bold, I'm too skeptical about death wish because it cause uncomfortable with some people (members) and I rather not make any death wish.

Oh really, how it does bad for all of us if we make wish that bankruptcy court dismisses the case, especially based on emotion?

I have other question, I believe that congress changed the bankruptcy law to make harder to use Chapter 7, is it true?

Good!

That would mean the court failed to follow the law.

Yes.

Yes.

Oh I see, that why I admitted that my post #7 is personal - just speak to myself, but it won't happen in real life.

Oh yes, I remember because many people abused the bankruptcy for years, even people with a lot of income to use the bankrupt to wipe all debts off, even they have ability to pay all of debts. It looks Casey qualify for Chapter 7 because she has little or no income, only negative - it will affect the credit history for 7-10 years and only positive - she will have no debt after discharge completed.

Chapter 13 is better if you have a lot of assets, such as car, house, etc that you don't want to lose it, however it looks no good for credit history.

The bankruptcy is last resort if the debt cannot be resolved or repaid.

She owes
- Internal Revenue Service: $68,540
If she has no income, then why does she owe IRS? Did she make alot of money from a settlement or media interviews after she was acquitted?

I hope she does not have any more kids because I think she is a psychopath.

The real sad thing about this whole case is Casey wanted her mother to raise the child but mother wanted her daughter to do it.
