I'm thinking the police scanner has been pretty crazy today. The officers are going to be tired.

I am thinking of zumba! I need my dose of zumba after, a long week it's so far, it's all good!

Sorry what's Zumba?

As sunshine mentioned latin dance. It has a mixture of execise and latin rhythms of salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton. Go to www.zumba.com

The job sounds sooo scary after the monthly meeting today. Our new principal explained the expectations of the job and the more she explained, the more I went :shock::shock::shock:

I tell myself, "Just do it!!!!!! Show that deaf people can do it!"

Hearing people tend to take the upper levels jobs. I am tired of it..I want the upper level to have a deaf perspective because it is deaf children who we are serving.

Thanks Alex. I am so in my comfort zone with my teaching job and to get out of that is kinda scary, you know?

Good luck with the interview. We're all rooting for you here on AD

I am thinking I want to shoot some 9mm hand guns. I lokkked at several yeaterday, and checked them out, but I want to shoot them befor I decide what I will buy.

Take a gun class and decide whether you buy it or not. I think that you should get a gun.

I have heard that a few cops could be stupid to arrest someone if he/she carry with it in their vehicle. I was told that if you arrive in State of New York from out of state with a gun license (not residence in NY), then police can arrest you and put you in prison automatically for a few years. That one is a bad law. There are some drug people carry with their gun everywhere. Do you know anyone from NY and tell us about it for a verification?

I'm thinking it's definitely December. The time of year where it seems like everyone is talking about getting ready for something, complaining about traffic, crowds, snow, their BF's, or something to do with emotions. :dizzy: I guess I'm with Botti on this one...

I'm thinking...

Shel - so excited for you about your interview and potential new job!!:applause: of course, DEAF people CAN!

and

Zumba is fun....

and

people can be .... sigh...

I already took a gun safety class. I really enjoyed it. After classroom portion we got to shoot on the range. It was great. Afterwards a lawyer taught us about the law regarding gun, and concealed carry permit. Taking that class was a great experience. I really enjoy shooting. It is something my kids, and I enjoy together.

Thinking I need your help, PLEASE!! I have never asked before, but I need some extra prayers today. Dystonia pain out of control. Thanks

You can have all of mine. I haven't been using them but they keep coming (I think my dad thinks himself a preacher sometimes). Anyway, I have a fairly large collection of untouched prayers. I hope you can use them. :D

i thinking about my work today.....i have to leaving soon and i too tired to work but i am happy they did give me increase on raise.

So what's the going rate for "gently used" prayers, and the "well used and practically worn out" prayers?

Thinking about a former co-worker who is in his last days of cancer and hospice. I so feel for him and his wife. He is just slightly younger than I (38, I think) and has a very rare form of stomach cancer. I've been keeping up with the CaringBridge updates and my boss, who also knows him, talked to me yesterday about us attending his eventual service together. It just sucks that this nice man will be leaving us soon.

Hummm. I guess that depends on how well they are made. The more love put into them the longer they last (and are more durable). Casual prayers (Like "Bless You") have very little value. But a nice high quality get down on the knees, hands together, tear streaked face, all out prayer.... now those can last a life time. (Mother Teresa had just one of those and look where it took her!!!)

But, sometimes it doesn't matter how good the prayers are, you just need a lot of them just to keep moving. When life is swamping you, a prayer is good to prompt you above the fray, but sometimes a flood can become a tsunami and that's when you need the really big prayers and a lot of them.

I am thinking...why did I wake up at 8:17AM on my winter break? Oh yea that is right. We got a puppy who kept climbing on me. :/ *and I just scared her because I sneezed :giggle:

Was there a test (or essay) on the paper? Was your test easy? How many questions are in the paper? Any thoughts that you have a suggestion before I plan to take the class? For example, do I need an interpreter? Do I have to hire an interpreter?

I wouldn't help, but wonder where cars with turbocharged engine ranks in used car sales as opposed to compact pick up trucks, SUVs, or a full size 4 door sedan.
