Don't forget kiddies, love is grand. Divorce is 50 grand.

Meh, they might get mono (or worse) from that first kiss, falling in love is just the first stage of a broken heart, sunsets are as big a lie as Santa and they will probably get cancer from the pesticides when laying under the stars and die in pain.

That is just the painful truth children :(

Well, she can remind them that if all else fails, there's always porn. (Just don't look at it in the public library).

:dunno:

A teacher in TX even helped 5 students make one.

Falala falala lalala

Well, for one of the reasons children believe in fantasy. Fairies, trolls, easter bunnies, etc.

Ok.. I"m a little confused..

His family is in the coffee business--not brewing, and he had plans to open a distillery a while back. Not sure what happened with that.

None, but.... would you really want to be the one to dictate other people's children's reality? Are you going around telling random kids "THERE IS NO SANTA CLAUS!", because "it's better for them"?

No, I'd rather go around telling parents they are idiots and it is their job to be truthful to their kids. They should stop using the tools of religious indoctrination on their children just because it makes them feel good. Children can be taught kindness and generosity without need of deception.

The teacher in this case, unlike Santa Clause, has a job and a duty to the children to tell them the truth and thankfully she did her job.

Well if we can't raid the brewery, at least the kitchen refrig and pantry, then.

Perhaps the class was misbehaving that day. Or little Johnny got on her nerves and he told her Santa will bring him presents dispite of his actions of being naughty.

:dunno: Regardless it is not the teachers duty to tell the children. It is the parents. Just like it is not the teacher job to say there (is a/or no) such thing as God

That fact is still in dispute, Santa Clause, however, is not, there is a difference.

What fact? It is not a fact if it is still in dispute. Many believe it is another tall tale. So who is the teacher to tell the child what culture or ways to live. Many culture believe in different things. Just because the teacher does not believe it is right does not mean she has the right to interfere with people cultures and beliefs.

The fact that a supreme being exist or not is still in dispute, there is a question of how the universe got here. However, there is no question about how the presents get put under the xmas tree, it's entirely created by the parent.

Teachers has no position to make decisions to tell anything to children but teaching them only according to the educaiton. santa is not an educaiton but holiday.
