That's what it looks like at full speed. When slowed down that doesn't appear to be the case.

Just looked at it again... she is pulling up something with both of her hands. Probably a strap of a backpack or a purse.

I don't think most people would be reaching for guns with both hands.

For the California law regarding pepper spray? Look it up yourself. I'm not your gopher.

Meh, you made the claim

If she was doing something wrong, why is the officer who was standing right next to her not doing anything? We have a good friend of this person right here saying that she was doing nothing. Obviously that's not good enough for you two honchos. Naw, she MUST have done something wrong! She must have! It's always the OWS people's fault! Never the cops! The majority of people who see this video see a young woman being choked by a POS cop. You two see a young woman breaking the law
.

No offense to DD but it looks different on my screen. Clearly the officer right next to her is dealing with the taller person

You two are both disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

You sure like to do alot of name calling personal attacks on the internet.

Once again this video does not show us the totality of the circumstances. It is poor quality, out of focus and the subject of the matter is out of the picture most of the time. We can not see what she is doing or did. This type of justification is insane! If you were not there then don't compare! What has happened to our society? Where do these people think their jobs come from? Yes, some corporations are bad just as some politicians are bad! Deal with the bad apples and reform the system legally and with intelligence. Wake up America!

Let me have it now!

I was just speaking to Hannah on Facebook, and she said that she DID NOTHING. Her sister (who was there) ALSO confirmed that Hannah did NOTHING as well. I have known these women for years now.In fact they are pretty much my honorary sisters (especially since their mom is my second mom) ...they are both very peaceful women, and NOT violent at ALL!

Fine, if you're going to play that game, here you go, but you do the reading. I'm not going to point it out for you. California Penal Code Section 12403.7 - California Attorney Resources - California Laws

This is the same thing with several other videos on this thread. I'll bring up one example: people saw a cop attacking a man with a baton after running over his foot. You saw a man "faking it" and argued that the baton never came down.

You see what you want to see. The rest of us see something different.

You sure do a lot of attacks on civil liberties and American ideals. (Ironically). But isn't it funny that I only target the same two or three people each time? Interesting.

Oh, I missed the part about them being able to leave if they each get up individually. So, um, what's the point of guarding them? Don't see what you're getting at there . . .
So that no more can enter the circle or interfere. Just an idea. Let them sit for as long as they want.

Right. . . First off, why don't you let him do his own defense, if he even cares enough. Secondly, his, "Well, I can't prove anything, but I'm sure they did something wrong!" mentality is exactly what is wrong with police officers in this country.
He already explained. I pointed it out that he doesn't have all the evidence and information on hand to make that call. Maybe you need slow down a bit?

"Trying to help" is exactly what you were doing.

The video is limited and can only see only. Doesn't help if the video is shaky. What were the people saying? What were they carrying? Were they making threatening gestures?

Instead of being obnoxious, how about providing some clear videos instead of pointing to a shaky video screaming as if it's absolute proof when you can hardly make any of the details? Or was the shaking done on purpose for dramatic effect? I don't know. I'm not there. I just don't take everybody's word for it. That video certainly doesn't help.

I did, and all I see is someone putting a purse or handbag over her shoulder. In effect, I see nothing. The female officer standing right next to her saw the same thing.

Picture 1 shows that the female officer was looking the other way. Picture 2 shows the female officer turning toward the male officer, the male officer staring at the woman's left hand and the yellow opening.

I have no idea if she did anything wrong or not but the officer clearly seems to think he saw something and is trying to prevent her from getting away. Kinda strange that she would walk into the picture, turn toward the woman drawing the female officer's attention just to pull her bag up. :dunno:

But again I don't see any brutality. I see an officer trying to stop a woman and a woman trying to get away. I guess we can agree to disagree.

Trying to get away with what?

I've watched the video several times and as far as I can tell she wasn't being threatening though she appears to be pulling on something then cops came down on her.

Same here. It's amusing how people keep using terms like "low quality", "blurry", "main subject is out of the picture for most of the video", etc. It's quite clear what happened. The cop went gung-ho and basically choked her. There's no way to justify an action like that.

Well she's not throwing bottles or kicking the cops or holding gun to them so they had no reason to attack her like that.

That law is for civilians. Nothing about policies regarding the use of pepper spray used by LEOs when allowed.

Does that mean you are unable to argue/debate effectively and instead prefer to call names and innuendos on the way out when people see differently or disagree?

Perhaps, perhaps not. It'd be better to have more videos with better shots.

?

Oh for DUMB! My friends are peaceful loving people...Hannah would NEVER hurt a fly! They aren't violent protestors like egg throwing or the type to call cops pigs or whatever. Heck Sophie (other sister) stated in her status that she DID NOTHING...they weren't catcalling or reaching for a gun or anything like that. If you knew my friends, you would laugh hysteraically at the thought of them being violent.

I looks like he grabbed her jackets to me. It only looks bad because she is pulling and being pulled away IMO.

Again, I don't know if she did anything wrong or not, but clearly the officer thought she did and tried to grab her and she pulled away I don't see an attack

We too can just agree to disagree. :) No hard feelings.
