Windows 7? It has issues with some older programs. Try reinstalling. If that doesn't work, try running as Vista. Be sure that you're logged in as administrator. I just upgraded and it was a pain.

It is Vista. I think it's something to do with a Skype toolbar.

Hmmm... I had trouble with my videocamera and skype. I reinstalled the camera and tested it on skype and it worked. But it still won't work with P3. :-(

Got myself into my jammies and started for the kitchen to take some medicine and what do I find, but the family that MIL had originally said were coming on Sunday. Luckily I had some medicine in my purse here in the bedroom. 10:30 at night, hubby in bed, my mother in bed, and MIL is entertaining a family of 7 in the house.

Real quiet at the moment-Implant disconnected. Rechargeable battery just ran out 10 minutes. Happens every night.

Computer is actually a new one. Well - maybe 9 months old.

Defrag, then system restore. You may also need to download and run CCleaner which gets rid of your crap files. You might also want to clear your cookies in each browser.

It's your OS. Vista totally sucks. I had it on my old laptop and it gave me problems.

Windows 7 so far has worked out much better. I would wipe Vista and start with a new OS. Linux Ubuntu might be an option as long as your computer meets the operating requirements.

Just pitch the computer. Google Chrome is really great. I think it may be time to replace your computer.

I love giving dead computers that final 'percussive maintenance' session. :giggle:

Good grief.

Bet you will be SO glad to be installed in your new house. What are we talking, a year or so from now?

Well - loan money comes through next month, and the septic tank install will start within the next 2-4 weeks. We just got the palm trees cut down for the septic tank. Once it is in and the loan comes through, we can start construction and the contractor is thinking 6-8 months.

Take him to a school for the deaf and show him the students there not using braille. Also have him argue with the staff there, he'd feel stupid in a instant.

Don't get it why your family thinks they know more about the deaf than you do considering you know ASL and have deaf friends whereas they do not.

Miss D, very good point take him to a deaf school. As you can see, my family claim to know it all even deaf culture when they got no training or deaf friends.
