I think somebody's yanking his own chain. It's amazing how a personal grudge can blind an ignoramus like that.
(mock) Now, try to stay on topic.

What Michael Scott do at this topic?
I'll explain -
Michael Scott's jokes make people feel awkward. That's what your joke is doing to this thread.
And this is about CSI topic?
That's what I thought at first, too. But then I realized the head shake was actually a negating movement connected to what she had just signed. I don't remember the exact utterance but I think it was something like, "You aren't telling the truth." So when the terp signed "YOU TELL TRUTH" she was negating that with the head shake. At least, it looked that way. The camera had just changed angles at that point, so I'm not sure.Oh yeah, there was one scene that bothered me a little. The female interpreter shook her head at the deaf character, I forgot which one though. It's just like wagging your finger at someone. The interpreters are supposed to be neutral.

I would say that interpreters killing off and attempting to kill off deafies is probably against the Code of Ethics.Or following Code of Ethics.
I was surprised how middle aged Anthony Natale looked. I'm used to seeing him as the golden boy of deaf actors.

It did seem to be a split second time lag from her signing to the head movement but it was also when the camera changed focus from facing her to shooting from behind her; it could be an overlap in filming. Hard to say.I thought the same thing at first, but then maybe not so because she shook her head after saying that. It did appear that she was passing judgment down to the suspect though.
Just thought it was interesting to point that out. You could be right though.
Cool!Just a little known fact, he grew up in St. Catharines, Ontario. That's where I live. If I'm not mistaken, his parents may be still living here, I don't know if they are still alive though. I know somebody who had them as neighbours.

It's kind of hard to believe that a police interpreter, who is used to many interrogations of deaf people, would make such an obvious ethical mistake.
I tend to think it was a filming continuity slip up.
